PERUMAHAN Kinrara Bhd (PKB), a wholly-owned subsidiary of Island & Peninsular Bhd (I&P), plans to launch another 1,000 houses in Bandar Kinrara, Puchong, this year, said chief operating officer Ismail Zakaria.
He said the houses, comprising various designs, would be launched in phases from March.
''We are confident that the new Kinrara houses would meet the demands of buyers in terms of quality and design. We are also confident that they would become competitive in the market,'' he told reporters after the official launch of the Kinrara Interchange in Puchong, Selangor, yesterday.
The RM14mil interchange, comprising an overpass and underpass, is expected to ease traffic along the busy Puchong-Sungai Besi Expressway near Bandar Kinrara.

The interchange also provides additional access to Bandar Kinrara’s 42,000 inhabitants.
PKB chairman Datuk Mohd Zuki Kamaluddin said a pedestrian bridge had also been built near the interchange to provide safe and quick passage across the expressway for residents of the township.
Currently, Bandar Kinrara was home to some 8,400 households and this was expected to increase as more housing projects were launched, he added.
The township is expected to have over 90,000 residents when it is fully completed in 2014.
The properties PKB plans to offer include terrace homes, semi-detached units, apartments, condominiums and bungalows lots.
